Laura M. Latella
Chief Financial Officer, Equinox Institutional Asset Management, LP
Ms. Latella is the Chief Financial Officer of Equinox Institutional Asset Management, LLC and is responsible for the organizational functions and direction of the firm’s policies and procedures. Prior to joining (“Equinox”), Ms. Latella was the Principal, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of 6800 Capital, L.L.C. and its related entities. Ms. Latella joined 6800 in 1994 as a result of the merger of Princeton Futures Group (“PFG”) where she acted a Vice President and CFO. Prior to joining PFG in 1990, Ms. Latella was the Controller for Edison Venture Funds and was also involved in the firm’s due diligence of portfolio companies and new business proposals. From 1985 through 1988, she oversaw the financial and administrative aspects of Princeton/Montrose Partners, a venture capital fund. Ms. Latella also held the position of Manager of Corporate Accounting for Commodities Corporation (now Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund Strategies Group). Ms. Latella has a Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey and a Masters of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Management at Rutgers University.
